Does the Boston line seem a bit too low???

Boston is hot and Baltimore is playing terrible after a hot start. Bucholtz has owned the Os in the past. However, the Red Sox are currently sitting at only -125. Why is the line so low? Before the line came out, I figured Vegas would have them at around -150 if not a little higher

Anyone care to discuss?

Oriole fan here

Probably low because, playing in Baltimore and Britton is 3-1 with a 3.16era very nice rookie. Boston seems to always own us anyways.

Britton hasn't looked bad
Bucholtz hasn't looked good
Boston going on 7th straight road game
Baltimore going on 6th straight home game

I think this is a good spot for Baltimore

The Red Sox have been the most undervalued team in baseball (especially vs. RHP) for nearly two weeks now.

I guess the 2-10 start may have something to do with that - when they were overvalued. They've been a hard team to cap.
You can make a case they were overvalued to start the season. I say they were merely vastly underachieving and trading at a fair price.

Boston and Baltimore split their season series last year, each with 9 wins and 9 losses.

However, it does seem that Boston has owned Baltimore in previous seasons

Take it from an oriole fan, Boston will have more fans in the stadium then the orioles will have. You can't pay me to take the O's tonight. Maybe if they weren't in a slump, I might put some coin on them. Total pass for me

My main concern is the line. Boston just seems too easy, and that can mean trouble. I hate to use the term "trap," but it seems like that to me

Majority on the Boston Red Sox and the line won't budge

Good to see you around stranger. Was wondering if you'd be back.

Anyway, I agree with this, although I've been hesitant to bet on them since I sometimes have trouble keeping my bias out of the way. That said, I don't love this spot. Boston often has trouble with young pitchers that they're seeing for the first time. And I think Britton has amazing stuff. On the other hand, this particular Boston team has two big new additions that may change that problem so I'm very curious to see how tonight's matchup plays out. I'm still capping my way through games, but I expect to sit this one out.

Bucholtz hasn't been trustworthy this season, and Britton has looked great. I really like this Baltimore lineup - a lot of good bats in there.

I maybe wrong, but I'm going to take a chance with Baltimore tonight

Baltimore +119 for a chunk of my account

Other reasons why I like Balt

Varitek catching so Balt should be able to easily take a few bases

Youk is batting clean up with his .222 avg
