Have some friends that live in juniper FL, they asked if I wanted to come down

FH it's the last one ever, and taking my 5 year old to it, vs sitting at home will be priceless. It's history, I'd be a bad parent not to take him. He's been begging me take him.

Have pics of me when my dad took me to moon launches in the early 70's.

I do not have kids

If you go to Tampa airport, you can see numerous jets takeoff and land.........and it's closer.

However, if your son wants to go, take him...............go to Cocoa Beach also, great people there.

In 1984 I saw the one with Sally Ride. Was in high school and we drove up from Miami the night before. We were at the maingate when an employer from NASA offered us a pass for $20. That pass got us 1 1/2 miles away from the launch. The ground shook when it took off. One of the best experiences of my life. It was like seeing God.

What are you Serving ?? @)

my usual assortment of abuse and b.s.

all we do is walk out on the beach.. the last thing anybody wants to do is get caught up in any shuttle traffic.. its a nightmare.

10's of thousands of people sit in traffic for hours trying to get where they need to be after the thing goes up.. same problem if it gets scrubbed as well...

On a side note this thing was designed in the 70's before the super computer era. Amazing it'd be like my dad taking me to see a space craft from 1935 blast off, I'm 40.
