laptop crapped out on me right before I left for March Madness, I have tried fixing it, but its just too beat up at this point to want to continue trying to fix, looking to pick up something simple for around $500. Internet browsing, some music (itunes), dvd burning would not be bad either

2 things wrong with this one. Celeron 925 processor and DDR2

now a days you want a Intel I3 or Higher, and You want a DDR3
