[FONT=&quot]Two titles are on the line Saturday night in UFC 129 with Georges St. Pierre defending his welterweight title against Jake Shields while Jose Aldo defends his featherweight title against Mark Hominick. Both of the defending champions are heavy favorites in UFC odds at

[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]The feature bout on Saturday night is the one between St. Pierre and Shields. St. Pierre is considered the best fighter in the UFC betting and one of the greatest of all time. He has to be really good to be a 5-1 favorite against a guy who has won his last 15 bouts. Many people are calling for St. Pierre to move up in weight and take on Anderson Silva. That may or may not happen but first things are first for St. Pierre as he has to take care of Shields on Saturday night in Toronto. The pressure is on St. Pierre to deliver in front of a hometown crowd but it may not be easy against Shields. The key for Shields will be to get the fight to the ground but that is not easy to do against St. Pierre. If Shields can get a takedown this fight could be very interesting but if not, it will be St. Pierre who wins.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]The other title bout has Jose Aldo going up against Mark Hominick. This actually might be the more exciting of the two title fights. Aldo just keeps coming and coming and Hominick likes it that way. Aldo has a ton of talent and unless Hominick gets lucky with a big shot this could be over quickly although it should be fun to watch.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Also on the main card it is Lyoto Machida against Randy Couture. It will be the last fight for the Hall of Famer Couture and that fact alone makes Couture a dangerous underdog. Machida has most of the advantages in this bout but the intangibles definitely go to Couture and he is not without a chance. The main card also has Valdimir Matyushenko against Jason Brilz and Mark Bocek vs. Ben Henderson.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]The preliminary card has two bouts on Spike TV. They will be Nate Diaz vs. Rory MacDonald and Sean Pierson vs. Jake Ellenberger. The bouts set to be shown on Facebook are Claude Patrick vs. Daniel Roberts, Charlie Valencia vs. Ivan Menjivar, Jason MacDonald vs. Ryan Jensen, Kyle Watson vs. John Makdessi and Yves Jabouin vs. Pablo Garza.[/FONT]

i'm also excited to see this... would like to see couture beat machida into a pulp for old times sake, and GSP get a TKO or sub... then having Aldo on the card... good stuff.

I'm with you on Randy and GSP. Aldo\Hominick should be the fight of the night IMO.

This is the best card for awhile IMO , I cant wait either ... Really looking forward to the Aldo fight also , Im half temped to lay -420 , But fukk I dont know , I usually have a rule, dont lay over 300 in Fights , anything can happen.
