Can someone please explain this..

I have tried to tell my friend that betting only 3 to 6 game parlays in baseball (and other sports) is a losing proposition. He is down obviously, but thinks he can beat the system. He won't take my advice although I practice great mm and am a small winner. Can a sharp please explain to him why this is a losing proposition?

If he is getting true odds (which is what most online books pay) it's not any more of a losing prop than betting straight bets. The problem comes with the wide swings in bankroll when betting parlays. A lot of losers and very few winners.
