I don't attend sporting events anymore, as I am not a fan of any professional sports teams. College is even worse. I may have made some comments when I was in college to opposing fans, but to me as I have gotten older, I can only confirm how stupid most sports fans are.

I've never enjoyed being around the knuckleheads at sporting events, even in Boston. I've always been a believer that I can yell or chant just about anything at the players, but attacking other fans verbally or otherwise is off limits as they paid their money just like I did to enjoy the event, and they should be able to do so.
I've only been to sporting events in a few cities, Boston, NYC, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, here in Portland... The Pittsburgh fans have been the best that I've run into.
