honestly bud.. these are sponsors here so i wont bash them much.. but try using a better book like BETJAMAICA (BETJM) and u wont be disappointed and they will NEVER leave the us market (knock on wood) but they are not in costa rica so they wont follow suit if the rican books fold.

I can definitely vouch for Sportsbook.com as being as solid as any of the current offshore books. They pay when they lose which is what most players are concerned with..Anyone with a problem with Sportsbook.com is more than welcome to contact me at person19481950@yahoo.com and I will make sure your needs are looked into immediately by a CSD Supervisor whom I have worked with for over 5 years.

Thank you, wilheim

I agree, Sportsbook has never done me wrong at all. My question was will they be shut down and monies frozen in the near future. I still have money on FTP and Stars that I have yet to get off and really dont want the same with SB or Bodog. Murph, I will look into BETJ. Thanks

just to add to what wil has said here.. I personally was not condemning sportsbook in any way shape or form. I personally do not use them so cannot comment bad or good on the group. I do trust that the RX would not steer a poster into a bad direction. I was simply answering the original question about a safe book for US players amidst the turmoil with DOJ and confiscation of funds. Do I know personally that any book would survive/payout to usa players if something drastic happened, NO.. but I definitely would trust the financial backing that I know of with betjm and their partners Olympic/Greek and know that the US business to them is a small percentage of their total numbers worldwide since they take european players that many books do not.

So I personally woudl recommend BETJM, but I wouldnt (not) recommend sportsbook or the other mentioned, I just can vouch for them myself :) But I am glad wil did.. If I ever do end up depositing there I know the RX stand up for me if anything ever happened, which I doubt it would.

One thing I have noticed at Bodog poker is that right after the whole Pokerstars fiaco went down they stopped their $500 freerolls that they used to offer twice daily. I asked them why and if was realted to the Pokerstars incident and the only reply I got was "taken down for maintenance"....almost 2 weeks laster and still "down for maintenance"...lol

Just to update a lil , Sportbook.com and sister sites are not taking anymore U.S. players as of today....i know this is true for their poker and casino but the stories ive read have not mentioned sportsbetting. Maybe Wil can ck that out and get us the details.
Also several sportsbooks have closed their casinos to U.S. players.....i beleive these are all on the MicroGaming network....Intertops, SIA to name a few. So there are a few changes coming as we move further away from Black Friday...
