Afternoon Boys,

Don't know if y'all missed me but I'm on the mend after being in a pretty bad accident on 4/19. My house was vandalized as somebody took a paint-ball gun and shot a couple hundred paint balls at my house. Had paint all over the house and while I was washing off the bricks on the second story of the house the ladder collapsed and I rode the ladder down to the ground about 18 feet below, which unfortunately was pavement instead of dirt. Was told that the force of the blow was equivalent to getting hit by a car that was going 30 mph while trying to cross the street.

Right Arm Broken
Right Shoulder Broken
Torn Rotator Cuff completly off the shoulder
Multiple Broken Ribs
Chin Shattered (my new chin is titanium)
Left Jaw Broken (this sucked the most as I was wired shut :grandmais until last night).
It's a fast and easy way to loose 30 lbs :thumbsup2:
Thank god for a good trauma unit at ECMC where I spent a few days in ICU and of course delaudin and fentanyl patches to kill the pain. Not technically cleared to go back to work yet but going stir crazy in the house so I ended up coming back to work. Luckily I can set my own hours so if I get a bit too sore I can always leave early.

I know there's a couple of you guys I'm working on some collection projects for I'll try getting those hammered out over the next few days.

Man that sounds like a terrible ordeal. I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Was the paintball attack a random act of vandalism or were you targeted?

All -thanks for the speedy recover wishes.

BB - 99.99% of our work is for the bigger banks & automotive lenders and I normally don't do 1-offs, but as long as you have a contract PM me and I may be able to handle.

Dougy - I'm in Williamsville, just outside of Buffalo

BAS - While it's just about impossible to track down who paintballed the house, being a collection agency owner puts me in the spotlight as I have to register with the various licensing boards with my true and accurate information to get a license (multiple states even go so far as require fingerprints) so I'm pretty easy to find. I also have a decent size pond on my property that we share with 4 other families (it's in a big crescent shape however the way the land lays out we own more of the pond than anybody else does) and my wife ended up chasing somebody off the property a couple times now over the last few weeks ago. My best guess is this guy since we've had to tell him multiple times to leave the property and the last time he was chased off he got pretty rude with my wife. The pond is stocked with bass, rock-bass, sunfish, bluegills and perch and has some phenomenal fishing since me and my sons are the only people who ever fish the pond (one of the main reasons I bought the place originally is because of the pond). If that guy shows up again we've been told to not confront the guy, call the police and they will question him about both trespassing and the vandal attack.

Ty - think we were targeted by the guy who has been trespassing on my land to fish our pond, but it could have been a random act of violence.

Well if that doesn't work, I have a guy up in your neck of woods.
You can call him too, and he will take care of it.
He's in the "Collection" business Too. :)

Doug - while I may want to do that to the assclown that hit my house up I don't think I would ever put it on a poster. Amherst, NY, for many years was voted the safest city in the US. We pay an insanely high property tax to keep a top knotch police dept. I'll let the boys in blue handle the situation for me if it ever comes up. Just got a feeling that there won't be any breaks in the case. There are a ton of places to go fishing in our area, and while my pond may be great, with just the smallest piece of effort you can find other places to fish at. If it's somebody from the collection agency aspect, the vast majority of our business is out of our area. I don't really see anybody coming to the Buffalo area to use a paintball gun on my house. Maybe one of the collectors who are on the phone on a day-to-day basis, but not to me. If they're pissed off enough to find me, my guess is they're going to do a lot more than paintball the house.
