I would say a substantial portion of your income...like 40 it 50%. I would think most pro's could still hustle money in other adventures such as what BW and Bob Dancer do.

Have great money management.

Be disciplined with your plays. i.e don't chase or bet the first game on the board when you wake up on a Saturday just because you can.

Have a good understanding of why the line is what it is and know when its off.

Be patient when selecting plays to optimize winning percentage.

Know that the -200 plays in MLB lose more often than not. (Not sure if this is a fact actually, but it appears thet way to me.)

Have a substantial BR to get started if you are looking to make a true effort. At least 75k imo

Know when something looks too good to be true it probably is and the ability to know the difference.

You made some good points above....

On your last one ( MLB -200 games ) not sure if they would even touch a game that high. Most Pro's that i know , it's all about the Juice

They are Not laying -110, they are laying -105 ( Football, NBA )
One guy that I'm close to, stopped betting MLB
He said it takes up too much time.

So to add to the list, you need Hours ( 6-10 hours ) for capping.
The guy above that i talk about, during Football season.... spends 4+ hours a Day , about 4 Days a week when handicapping Football ( NFL )

Yeah, i doubt they would touch a game that high either. I know i never have laid anything close to that.

Also, i think in some way or another luck plays some part. I consider myself a very lucky person. I read somewhere that "luck is when opportunity meets preparation." I find this to be true.

A love for Math and statistics
The ability to predict line movement (beating the closing line is more important than getting reduced juice IMO)
Like any Business venture one must have a big enough bank roll that produces a big enough ROI% to sustains one's life style.
