Yes and it is a great thing to do if you have alot of money you can't find a way to spend on anything. Strippers are a must better investment.

Yes, I have owned in the past ... more than a few.

All Standardbreds ( Harness )

I also have a lot of friends still in that business, and the thoroughbred business.

I have a very close friend that is a Top trainer of thoroughbreds, and for Years she has tried to get me to buy a thoroughbred or two.

It's not a Cheap hobby by Any means.... there's a lot of LUCK involved in this game.

If you ever need help, just let me know.. and I will try my Best to point you in the right direction.

I've owned 3 ( all TB) and left the game with a small profit. You have to find someone you are willing to trust because the game is full of kickbacks, lies, mysterious vet bills etc.
You could look into partnership/syndicate etc where you put up a set price and buy shares. Castle Village Farms is one example or West Point Thoroughbreds. Not saying they're good or bad, just using them as an example. There are many of them out there.

Have owned more than 50, perhaps more than 100 standardbreds. Do not trust anyone blindly. I know a lot of people who have been burned because they had blind faith in other people. Start small, learn the business.

In the interview on his way to the winner's circle for the Derby, owner Barry Irwin was asked why he switched trainers and gave the horse to Graham Motion, Irwin said his previous trainer was a liar.

I was in a syndicate of 20 guys that had some horses about 10 years ago. One of the neatest things I have ever done.
We ran up in Woodbine. Going to the OTB to watch your horse run was very cool.
