I loved him when he was a part of the killer 'B's in Houston all those years.

I loved him coming off the bench for my Yankees last year.

I love him in St. Louis, I loved what he did in the bottom of the eighth today.
Cards down to Josh Johnson, 3-2, one out, Rasmus singles, Pujols singles, Holliday singles, JJ gets hooked for Dunn, Berkman crushes a 400 foot job over the left field wall.

Clutch!

That 3-4-5 of Pujols, Holliday, and Berkman is as good as it gets.

Berkman, even though in his 13th season, is playing in his third pro decade.
So far, this year, dude has 10 taters, 23 RBI's, hitting .392 OB% .509 (are you freaking kidding me, .509, that's on base more than half the times he grabs the bat) SLG .775 , OBSLG 1.376

Do the math, that prorates to 58 dingers and 128 RBI's

Those are Bonds numbers, without the steroids.
Berkman has never been linked to steroids, Balco, any of that nonsense.
Real classy guy.

Dude's average season in 13 years is .292 - 33 - 110
He's 35, will finish with about 440 homers, must be considered for the Hall.

His post season numbers are off the charts also, .320 - 7 - 30 in 122 playoff at bats.

Those are scary good post season numbers, that's like .320 35-150 in a regular season against the games best pitching

p.s. who had the insight to grab him in the ninth fantasy round once one found he was going to bat fifth in that lineup on a daily basis in right field.

(I did)
