I coached my first co-ed softball game tonight. I had a guy pitching, a girl catching, a guy at 1b, a girl at 2b, a guy at SS, and a girl at 3B. Left field and right center were guys and left center and right were girls. We won 12-5 and scored 10 in the first. Our girls are pretty good, but our male SS, male LF and male right center fielder probably got the most action.

hahahahahaha...Dante is "Softball Guy".....getting amped up because the coach and the girls Just Don't Get It

Brother....the "coed" league has one goal only.

1) Make sure that of the 13 players in the lineup, at least ten are drinking some form of adult beverage and/or burning a phattie over behind the big oak tree while the other three are rotating up to strike out and/or stand in the field as "defense".

1a) Which btw, the defense in coed softball is best operated much like a hockey team. Nine players do a five minute "shift" and then the four on the bench run onto the field to replace four others. Continuing shift changes until the opposing team accidentally makes three outs or mercies you. At which point you return back up to Rule #1 above, but now with all 13 participating out in the parking lot.

DANTE, I hope that you're using one of those spiral softball scorebooks to score your games so that you can then present the coach with updated stats and splits on all your batters.
