I upgraded last night to Firefox 4.0.1 and it's noticeably faster.

The UI is slicker too.

It's too bad I have (work-related) tools that only work on IE,
otherwise I'd never run that shit again.

I just downloaded the new Firefox upgrade this morning also but am only now catching up on what is new. I noticed navigation is faster now if that makes sense..I finally after trying four different browsers settled on FireFox and am glad I did.

Wish they kept duplicate tabs but yes, seems a little quicker than previous release

Upgraded to 4.0 myself earlier this week and notice it's a bit faster...not sure that I like the graybar look on the Menu Bar....if there's a way to change that I'd like to know

I do like that the 'Status bar' still shows up while a page is loading/opening and then disappears, thus giving that extra 1/4 inch or more of display down low

What is "UI"?

Please elaborate...sorry I sound dim.....is this essentially synonymous with "user friendly" so to speak?

To be clearer I should have said GUI = Graphical User Interface.

I was referring to the general graphical layout and graphics. It's not a lot different from version 3.x, but I thought is was a bit slicker.

right on...okay, so I guess I kinda said same thing in my first post

Any way you can see to change the graybar look of the Menu Bar up top?

Already Customized my navigation bar where I use small icons only and just a few at that

I looked through the Tools->Options and didn't see a way to change the graybar look on the Menu Bar...

I'm holding off awhile because many of the add-ons I use haven't been changed to work with FF4 yet (or hadn't as of about a week ago, at least). Did you have any problems with that, FZ?

I have about 20 add-ons and they all seem to work fine under version 4.

Yeah, it takes a little getting used to but once you do it's no big deal.

One thing I don't like is the little popups at the bottom when you cursor over web links. It's annoying.
