I remember in July and August this board was littered with them, it was crazy. With Boston and LAL on the brink of elimination I'm guessing some people might be coming around on MIami to win the title.

Will be interesting to see final 4 teams odds. No one has won a road game in the bos Mia series, on pace for a game 7 or a Mia sweep, we will find out.

Cant believe everyone thinks this series is over. Have you all learned anything?
Sure miami looked good the first two games. But they can look just as bad the next two.

They were over-rated in July and August.

They have improved quite a bit since then.

Simple as that.

They're overrated. Boston is old. Chicago will take them down.

Not sure how that makes sense. Did people not expect a team of new players coming together not to improve or something? Were they not supposed to improve over an 82 game season? Of course they would improve.

Also I do still think the Celts have a shot....Chicago is whatever though, that team is way too reliant on Rose offensively and Miami matches up nicely with them.

That's why Miami couldn't beat the Bulls once in three tries, right?

Um, did you think when the hype in July was that they were going to prance their way to 70+ wins? Van Gundy saying they would beat the Bulls' 72 win record, Phil Jackson saying they'd get 70...

There was no guarantee how this team would gel and improve over the season. Sure they'd get better, but no one knew to what extent.

I stand by what I said 100%. They were over-rated at the beginning of the season, and they have improved quite a bit since then.

The Heat suck. Three of the best players in the NBA on one team. The only one on that team that has some heart is Wade. Lebron will never be mentioned with Michael Jordan. Sure, Lebron has better size, speed, and all the potential in the world, but he lacks heart, fire, and the passion to win. He is missing that fire that Jordan had. Lebron is one of these entitled from birth new generation kids, that expects everything to come easy, and wants the easy way out. A waste of talent. If Jordan had Lebron's size, speed, strength, he would have won a championship every single year.

They are not winning it all this year, or next.

I dont see how they were overrated at the beginning of the season. The beginning of the season means nothing. Van Gundy is 1 over the top analyst, who cares what he thinks. The point is most people on this board said no way they w
in the title and now theyre the prohibitive favorite to do so. Well see if they can finish the job.

I think 1 of them or OKC wins it all (Go C's)

my confidence in the Celts has diminished greatly since the Perkins trade. Before that trade, the C's were big time trouble for the Heat

Saturday's game just gave me a little hope

Today will likely tell the tale

Usually if a home team loses home-court advantage by losing one of their first 2 games at home, they normally bounce back and win game 3 on the road.

If it doesn't happen to day expect the Heat to win the series...
