Hamilbet, no way.

Hockey you can get blind sided just like you can in the NFL. Both are very physical.

there is a reason why football plays once a week and only 16 games in a regular season,...it aint from lack of sponsors

According to a recent NFL Management Council analysis of players who entered the NFL between 1993 and 2002, the average career length for a player who is on his club’s opening-day roster as a rookie is 6.0 years.

The Average for all skaters is 5+ seasons

of course if I am not mistaken NHL season is a little longer and they may play a few more games a season than the NFL (sarcastic remark)

NHL: 5 seasons X regular season games(82) + Playoff Games +410 games
>
NFL: 6 seasons X regular season games(16) + playoff games +96 games

NFL looks to be 4X harder on the body

watch an NFL team get off the team bus one time and this is very easy to answer

hockey may be rough but the whole point of football is to knock the other man to the ground

Football is harder on the body, but man I've seen hockey players with blood everywhere nonchalantly skate over and pick up their teeth like they were going to the store.

Football is more physical, but if you took 10 hockey players against 10 football players in a fight, the hockey players would kill them easily...

Hockey is far far more physical.

No guys going 35 miles per hour in football.

Line up a hockey team next to a football team and the hockey team has no teeth, noses broken in 3 directions, scars all over their faces, etc... Football team looks normal.
