Hookem's One Biiiig Play of the Day for Saturday, May 14th

These are big plays for me that usually don't come around very often. I play 5 units on each.

I may have a bonus play that almost fits "biiig play" criteria but just misses. Those are being played for 2 units.

I decided to start putting them up here and it's doing well so let's keep it going.

I'm can't go into a detailed analysis, but here is the short of it:

Collmenter has good stuff. Plus, the Dodgers haven't faced him before which means it's going to take a few turns through the lineup before getting a handle on this guy.

Meanwhile, Billingsley has looked average so far this year...kind of hit or miss. What I really like about this game though is that Arizona hits Billingsley well. As a team, they have faced him quite a bit and are hitting .275 against him (.349 OBP). Stephen Drew has seen Billingsley the most out of the Zona lineup and is hitting .358 against him (19 hits out of 53 ABs). Young has taken him deep 3 times in roughly 40 ABs. Montero has seen him 23 times and it hitting .391.

Throw in the bullpen problems that LA is currently suffering from. Padilla is not reliable. Broxton is out. Kuo is out. Hawksworth is questionable.

This is a good spot for Arizona to pick up a win.
