Cubs/Giants Game - Are You Kidding Me?

Your ticket would only be cancelled if the game doesn't go at least 8.5 innings. The umpires have showed no signs of getting close to calling this game. It may go the full length and both teams are making alot of errors because of how wet the ball is when trying to pick up grounders. However they are leaving alot of men of base in scoring position. The 5th inning was just completed so it is a legal game but I think it goes the distance. JMO.

Just for future information, Vogelsong has been pitching excellently in place of Zito. I wouldn't mind not seeing Zito for the rest of the year.

Yep, I definitely ignored the #1 rule of Wrigley Field games, but when I saw Davis and Vogelsong at 7.5, I'll take that everyday.
I dont have the game on tv, but looking at the box score looks like the over should of already hit.

I think they end up calling it. The rain had been coming down since the start of the game and I've never seen a game with that much rain not being stopped. Everybody was soaked. Balls couldn't be handled, thus the errors. The forecast shows the rain continuing to a high percentage. Just can't see them taking the tarp off while it's still raining. Wouldn't make sense.
I have MLB Extra Innings as well but while most of the country is televising the Boston/New York game on FOX, here in the Bay Area, Fox is televising the Giants/Cubs game.
Weather report sure looks like they are done tonight. How hard was the rain coming down though? What are your thoughts now on them returning based on actually seeing the weather?

Any initial thoughts on Grizz/OKC tomorrow? Pretty sure I remember you took Memphis to win series, no? I took OKC to win the West and NBA Finals immediately after the Perkins trade. Got pretty good odds, hoping it comes through for me. +600 to win WEST and +2000 to win it all.
