I haven't done a season long thread before but given that I moved to Vegas over 12 months ago and have bet on something nearly every single day, I'm like, what the fuck? let's put the picks on record.

First, a word of caution, I am ice fucking cold! In fact, I am so cold, that is why I decided to start posting picks. Go against me! You will love it! I made 11 plays on Friday and pushed one and lost the other 10. On Saturday, I came back with 3 more losers (out of 3). On Sunday, I opened the day with 2 more losers before finally winning with the Red Sox. I thought I was back but just suffered through another beat with the Angels tonight. So, I can't take it anymore, I'm posting these picks - these are the one's I'm putting my money on - once you are convinced that I am a savant at losing, you can go against me. Who knows, maybe this is what I need to go on a hot streak (I've had winning streaks too :) ).

Anyway, most picks will be MLB since that's the forum I'm in but I will post whatever I have money on. If I somehow am a middling 50/50 poster, I won't waste time, I will quit posting.

Picks for Tuesday, May 17:

Baltimore over Red Sox (Wakefield). Assuming Wakefield gets the start, I'm going against him. No line has been posted but I assume this will be in the PICK range as Wakefield is terrible and Britton is solid. 1 unit play.

I'm taking Giants over Rockies (Jimenez). Jimenez is way over-rated and shouldn't be a -140 favorite over a decent pitcher like Sanchez. That's just nuts. 1 unit play.

Finally, I've taken the Thunder +3.5 for 1st half over Mavericks. Mavs haven't faced a super quick point guard like Westbrook in these playoffs and that, coupled with the 9 day rest should allow the Thunder to get off to a decent start. I'm famous for blowing games late so hopefully first half will be a winner.

Cliffs: (all 1 unit) YTD Record 0-0 0.00 units

Orioles over Red Sox (Wakefield)
Giants over Rockies (Jimenez)
Thunder +3.5 over Mavs (First Half)

Wow, I blew my 2 run lead in the 8th instead of the 9th, not even sure that counts as a bad beat.
Hope you are going against me cuz I'm truly the worst.

Sweet, up 6 getting 3.5 with under 4:30 left and Mavs go on 13-0 run. That's the way I roll gentlemen, just another typical day for me, think you're going to win both and find a way to snatch defeat from jaws of victory.

0-2, -2.65 units, LMAO!

OK, going to have to fight every bone in my body to not make these 3 plays and parlay them as well. I have no self-control so here are the 3 losers for today:

Philadelphia -145
Baltimore -120
Bulls -2

1 unit each

Let's see if we can sweep the board, haha

yeah, I do live in Las Vegas. Somehow, I still am profitable this year despite going through the worst stretch of my life since May 1. Nevertheless, we will fire again tomorrow but need winning day soon as my stash is getting too small to keep doing this - need to get back to poker, lol.

Anyway, if you went against me, you once again made money as I went 1-2, -1.3 units.

Thread record: 1-4, -3.95 units

4 plays for tomorrow: (putting estimated lines out based on Pinny but will hopefully update lines at actual after plays are made at Red Rock :))

Atlanta -110 over Arizona
Dodgers -125 over Giants
Florida -160 over Cubs
Yankees -145 over Orioles

My logic here is as follows: Taking Atlanta with excellent pitcher against a relief pitcher - I like the fact that Arizona won today cause I think more likely Braves bounce back tomorrow and only laying -110 (hopefully). Dodgers is pretty good play I think cause Bumgarner has gotten rocked this year and Dodgers over Giants at home is never a bad play imo. Cubs won today so expect Florida to bounce back tomorrow - can't I win with a -160 once in awhile? And Yankees clearly own the Orioles as Orioles best pitcher couldn't get the W (although did pitch well, why didn't I take the under?) so Sabathia should have little trouble here.

I really HATE taking four favorites cause that's not the way I typically roll but given that I am losing every day, time to change some shit up :)

1 unit on each although I might donk and parlay them all as one last desperate attempt to win back a decent roll. Will decide that one tomorrow.

GL all!

Just bet substantial on Reds -175 but for tracking purposes, 1 unit. If I lose this one, I'm done.

Always nice to blow the roll on a -175 favorite, truly validates my horridness if anyone thought I was a run of the mill 50/50 guy - full fledged loser here on an epic 3-21 run.

So, for the record, the 4 plays I listed last night will not be played since I have no sports monies, it's poker only now.

Don't be surprised if Dodgers, Yankees, Marlins, and Braves sweep the board tonight as that would be the ultimate kick in the balls.

GL all, I'm out.

Well, I feel like I need to keep this going because if you guys are going against me, you are cleaning up as I posted 5 picks today, all favorites in baseball, and lost 4 of 5. It's not easy to post -160 and -175 losses for most people but it is child's play for me.

Thread record: 2-8, -8.65 units. That's a lot of minus units for 3 days!

Just call me the Iceman, I'll post some more losers shortly.

OK, here are the losers for May 20th:

Rockies +130 over Brewers. Greinke is a hard-luck pitcher that never seems to get the run support he needs and Hammel has nice plus price here.

Under 7 (-105) TX/Phillies: Tempted to actually take Texas here but what I think happens in this game is Halladay pitches another gem but they never score for him so it will be a 2-1 or 3-2 final. Under 7!

Nationals +145 over Orioles: interstate rivalry plus Marquis has pitched fairly well so getting huge value on what is expected to be close game.

Braves -115 over Angels: Not much thought here - Santana seems to lose most of his starts so I'll take Hudson every time as small favorite.

Padres -135 over Mariners: Bedard isn't what he used to be and Latos seems to be coming out of his slump so I'll take home favorite.

5 plays, GL going against me, EZ $$ :)

Another losing day, ty very much although only -1.05 units. Now 4-11, -9.70 units.

Here are Saturday's losers: (all 1 unit)

Blue Jays -190 over the Astros and the hapless Myers
Detroit -125 over Pittsuburgh that grabs your money as big road dog but lays down and dies at home
Seattle -125 over Padres - I think the Padres belong in the minors this year, they suck
