Tiger is not winning the Open ! He has a better chance of winning the Muni down the street from me. :howdy: I posted earlier I would take at least 20 golfers before I would take Tiger to win, here they are

Watney
Mahan
Mickelson
Els
Donald
Mcilroy
Westwood
Kuchar
Rose
Bubba
KJ
McDowell
Schwatzel
Glover
Byrd
Oglivy
Cabrera
Stricker
Laird
Sabbatini

A couple local club members at your Muni down the street would in all liklihood be favored over Tiger if they played this weekend down the street from you.

Course knowledge and Tigers injuries/attitude is my reasoning for thinking this.

I'd bet they are really scared of Phil as well...lol

How come nobody noticed Phil shooting a 40 on the front 9 on Friday, but everybody noticed Tiger shooting a 42 on thursday?

On a serious note, I would agree with K.J. Choi, Luke Donald, McDowell, Watney, McCillroy and I will add Jason Day to your list, to finish ahead of Tiger at the U.S. Open. The rest of them I wouldnt trust with a really long pole.
If the open was this week, I would have Sabbatini ahead of him, but Sabbatini is streaky and dont think he says hot for another month. I do like Sabbatini +3000 and Jason Day +2000 to win the colonial this week. They both live around here and practice at colonial and Sabbatini has already won there

Left knee injuries are just too tough for a golfer to overcome. It's the pivot knee, and the force that is put on it is tremendous. Left knee=disaster if it's not working right. And I don't think one month is enough time between now and the U.S. Open for him to get it rehabilitated.

Didn't post anything about anyone finishing ahead of Tiger, I said TO WIN !!! As far as Phil is concerned, Phil has the game to win. He has been runner up 4 times. He might play like shit and finish 33rd again, but I would bet on him TO WIN before I would be on Tiger TO WIN

lets keep this list handy and see how many finish ahead of Tiger at the open. I'll pick 20 to finish ahead of him as well and we will see who does better. I'd guess 3.5 is the over/under on you list and the over is -125 and under is +115

its at congressional where tiger used to host his tournament....i dont know the length, but being a us open almost guarantees length, narrow fast fairways, super long rough, super hard and fast greens....so about half the field actually has a chance

well, if your tiger and you cant win the tourn after the first 9 holes of the tournament and you have a jacked up knee that you came back on after 4 weeks instead of six weeks.....you might as well quit the tourn, no reason to walk around/swing on it for 3.5 more days when you've already lost the tourn in 9 holes...its the players tourn, and that means jack shit to tiger, why risk not being able to play in a month?

Referencing the 4 runner ups because he does contend at the Open.
