2011 MLB Record: 5-1 (will have to go back to check units)

Baltimore Orioles ML -119 (10 Units)

It's always tempting to take the Yankees as an underdog and a lot of times they come through for their backers but had it not been for Alex Rodriguez and his two Home Runs yesterday, we would be talking about a seven game losing streak for the Yanks and I just don't see any justification in backing this lineup right now. They are going up against one of the best young pitchers in the game Zach Britton. There used to be days when the Yankees would pound away on left handed pitchers but those days are long gone and now the Yankees bat .245 against lefties in 2011. I remember Zack Greinke always getting this kind of line when he pitched at home no matter who it was against but his team never won for him. It's a different story with Britton. The Orioles are 4-1 at home when he is on the mound in 2011 and his only loss was two starts ago against the Rays, who he beat on the road anyways to start the year. He then pitched a complete game 2-1 win over the Mariners on six days rest and with the rainout yesterday, he is on six days rest again. He beat Texas, Boston, Minnesota and Seattle at home this season. Yankees should be next. Baltimore has won 16 of their last 23 versus a right handed starting pitcher and it won't be long until these kinds of odds are not available when Britton is on the mound at home. Take it.
