NFL player gets a 500K loan at 23% interest

With this story is there any doubt who is going to win the labor dispute.
These players have not even officially missed a paycheck yet, but you have an unnamed player so tapped out that he basically had to get a supersized payday loan.

1st off, in order to get a 500K loan means that this player does not make anywhere near the NFL min.

Your talking a player that makes at least 2 or 3 mil a season.

He got his last check for at least several hundred K less then 4 months ago, and is so broke he has to get a 500K loan at 23% interest.

I bet the owners are reading this story and licking there chops.

Its utterly pathetic that any player making the kind of money they make, cant go 4 months without a check.

Unreal.

Not all players are like this....My neighbor plays in the NFL and has saved almost everything he has made and his contracts have totaled about 50 million. He owns a very modest home has very ordinary cars.

Player probably blew the money on bling, his posse, cars, and women. You would think most players would of been smart enough to listen to their union to save money last season but some can't help blowing their money.

I would imagine the biggest drag on his money would be child support. Guys get taken in the court system.
