I dont get this joke?

i am embarrassed to say this. heard this for many years. pretend to know it and laugh along with it, whenever i hear it. even used it as a punch line a few times. but in all honesty i have never understood it. i am a first generation, english is my first language but i have to think the culture barrier is what kept me from knowing this....

masturbating will make you go blind? :think2:

is that just an old american joke/saying or is there real truth behind it?

Actually there is a small truth to this myth...it is assumed that most people release with their eyes closed. When a person releases they send off a hormone called Garbotin...when someone releases Garbotin it is sent to the femoral branch of the retinal eye... if the eye is closed than Garbotin is sent down into the sac of the lung in the testicles and in "laymen's term" lives to die............in other words beat off with your eyes open and your vision will never reduce.
