Any San Antonio golfers?

Heading to San Antonio June 25th-28th....

Staying at Hyatt Hill Country Resort, planning on playing a round of golf on Sunday. Curious if anybody has played at the Hyatt....I played and stayed at Westin La Cantera last year, only played the Palmer Course, not the resort course. I'll only get to play one round this year so wanna make sure the course is worth it, or if I should play somewhere else. Marriott?

I've played every course in SA many times - both those courses r very nice - the Dominion is fat too if u can get on (private) - if not play the resort - I also like the quarry

Thanks for the info.....I'm staying at the Hyatt. Do you mean the Hyatt's resort course or La Cantera's Resort course? Have you played both of those?

I've heard good things about the Quarry as well. Have you played Marriot's course? They moved the Valero Open there a couple years ago from the resort course at La Cantera.

My options are basically either:

Resort Course at La Cantera
JW Marriott's course
Hyatt's Course (which will be most convenient since I'm staying there and will have wife and 2 yr old daughter on trip as well)

I'm not a golfer, but we've stayed at La Cantera a bunch of times, the kids love the swimming pools and water slide. I've heard great things about the Hyatt Hill Country...

Yea, we stayed at La Cantera last year. I really liked it as well. If my lil one was a little bit older we would definately go back there, but she's not quite two yet, so she cant do all the activities and stuff. The Hyatt supposedly, has a nice shaded lazy river and sand beach she can play on so we thought we'd try that out this year. From the reviews i've read, it sounds like the rooms at the Hyatt aren't quite as nice as la cantera's so we will see. its tough to beat those mattresses at the Westin hotels
