Going against the Dodgers again.. Vazquez extreme fly ball pitcher and that dont matter at dodger stadium..

Garland last start:
Garland had a puzzling start vs. his former White Sox teammates, knocked out in a six-run fourth. He said a thumb blister isn't bothering him, but he also wasn't on the same page with catcher Rod Barajas for the first time this season.

Better lineup, better bullpen. Getting a plus price..

I'll take it.

mikey..

You know what trips me out about Boston, is the fact they hit LHP pitching very well.. They have a leftie laden lineup but actually fare very well against LHP..

Have you noticed this and thought about it?

METS/PHILS..Another Met bites the dust.RA Dickey hurt his heel coming off the mound yest and not likely to make his next start..mets have no one capable of making that start.Dillion Gee is already filling in for Chris Young and the next best two choice are having or have had "tommy John" surgery..Angel Pagan supposed to come off the DL tonight but so what..Dave Wright and Ike Davis are behind schedule..Except for one joke game in Chicago the mets have been unable to score more than 3 runs..on the bright side they miss Halladay and Lee

the play:
Looking at Mets tteam total under but how can you trust the Phils pen

i will chase the phils rl this series even with 2 lefties opposing them

tonight:$100
PHILLY..RL-1.5 +115

YANKS/MARINERS
Yanks will go into seattle facing some pretty good pitching, but will have a definite advantage in the bullpen and at the plate...Soriano is out indefintely but with yesterdays travel the pen is rested..although Dave robertson and his wife took the day to travel to Alabama and help the tornado and flood victims..
the Yanks have just been average on the road although they did have to go into some tough parks
Bats are warming up as we approach June just like every yr and i like the yanks to light the mariners up atleast one game this series

THE PLAYS:$100
YANKS -104
$50:
YANKS TT O AWAITING THE LINE ..SHOULD BE 3.5

Series Notes:

New York at Seattle
Matchup Notes: This three-gamer in Seattle kicks off a three-city, nine-game West Coast swing for the Yankees, who last year went a combined 9-4 in games at LAA, OAK and SEA. New York owns the AL's top road OPS this season (.813), and the Yankees have averaged 5.4 RPG at pitcher-friendly Safeco over the last two years (2009-10). NYY bats will have to contend with Pineda and Hernandez in this series, though. Both are on a strikeout upswing in recent weeks Also on a strikeout upswing -- the SEA offense. You might want to stay away from AJ though...Burnett's last 12 IP: 14H, 9R, 3 HR, 4W, 7K . Those two bad starts came on heels of two straight games of 115+ pitches, a highwater pitch-count not hit since his last two starts of the 2008 season. ... Seattle's numbers vs A.J. are good (.321/.376/.436).

Kansas City at Texas
Matchup Notes: The trio of TEX starters have been great their last two starts. The last time any of the three of them yielded more than three runs in a game was back on May 1. The Texas staff overall has a 3.16 ERA this month. … Over the last two seasons (2010-11), the Rangers are 11-3 against the Royals, a team that this season has won just five times on the road (5-11). … Since May 3, KC is 6-11 and averaging just 3.4 RPG.

Cleveland at Tampa Bay:
Matchup Notes: The Red Sox made Cleveland look human .. and very beatable .. in dismantling the dinged-up Indians in two-of-three earlier in the week. The Rays, though, come into this one cold, having lost five of their last six . … In their last 12 meetings (2010-11), TAM holds a 9-3 series edge and has outscored CLE, 58-40. The Rays need to recapture that type of offense (4.8 RPG) to start to undo their terrible numbers at home (.658 OPS - 13th AL).

Baltimore at Oakland
Matchup Notes: Outman and Moscoso will go as two fifths of the injury-depleted Athletics staff. Actually none of the six starters in this three-game set are very inspiring of late. Their only solace -- games at the pitcher-friendly Coliseum and the second-division offensive trends of both nines. … Overall, though, Baltimore comes in playing pretty well -- the Orioles have won five in a row, holding foes to 2.6 RPG in the process.

Cincinnati at Atlanta
Matchup Notes: While the Reds hitters rank #5 overall in OPS in the majors, they are much worse vs. RHPs than LHPs (.891 OPS vLHP and .715 OPS against RHP), and are also much worse away from home (.808 home OPS vs. .672 road OPS). This certainly bodes well for the Braves' trio of RHPs, who get to face CIN in ATL as opposed to The Great American Ballpark in CIN.

St. Louis at Colorado
Matchup Notes: The STL offense ranks #1 in OPS v. RHPs (.773, with a .284 BA), and #1 in road OPS (.821, with a .294 BA) - something to consider since all three COL SPs this weekend are righties ... The three STL SPs have limited experience at Coors Field. Westbrook has pitched only one time in his career at Coors - that being a one inning outing back in 2003. Garcia has one career start that lasted only 5.1 innings at Coors (he gave up four runs on nine hits), and Lohse has made two starts at Coors over the past three years, throwing a total of nine innings and giving up 10 ER in those starts. This limited experience does not necessarily mean that the STL SPs will struggle at Coors, but it is something to consider.

Florida at Los Angeles
Matchup Notes: The Dodgers have been a poor offensive team at home this year, with a .613 home OPS as compared to a .718 OPS on the road. This should bode well for FLA SPs Vazquez and Nolasco, each of which is coming off of a quality start (5 in a row for Nolasco)... For LA, Kuroda has been up and down as of late but In his career, Kuroda has held the current FLA lineup to a .167 BA, so chances are this weekend's start will be more likely to fall into the quality start category for Kuroda.
Philadelphia at New York
Matchup Notes: The Mets are a much better hitting team at home, despite Citi Field playing as a pretty strong pitchers' park. NYM has a .763 OPS at home vs. a .662 OPS on the road. They also hit RHPs relatively well (.716 OPS against RHPs), and thus could do some damage against RHPs Oswalt or Worley ... On the flip side, the Mets pitchers are more successful at home (3.50 home ERA) than away (4.62 road ERA), and the Phillies' offense has not been quite as expected this season minus Chase Utley and Jayson Werth (PHI ranks #22 in MLB with a .684 OPS), so the matchups for Capuano, Pelfrey and Niese are not as bad as they might seem at first glance.

If u guys like this sort of thing let me know and I'll post them all year for the majority of series match-ups.

well..they didnt last year, but this year.. gonzo hits evrything, crawford starting to come on and ortiz this year has been great. drew sits vs lefties and both catchers are switch hitters, which also helps. you wait and see how inflated the overs will become in the next coming weeks...

South wind 20 mph at The Ballpark in Arlington tonight.....usually means jet stream is in play. I'm playing the Rangers TT over 5.....I dnt know anything about the Royals, but I know colby Lewis is a flyball pitcher, so might be risky to lay a huge # on the rangers with the jet stream in play and a flyball pitcher

8.5 runs is looking like a lot in Colorado tonight.
Westbrook has only allowed 1 run in his last two starts and Eddings is one of my favorite under umpires.
Only thing is, Ubaldo has been shit at home.
I'm taking a stab at it.

Rangers two game chase for the rest of this series for me

I know...that's a lot of juice, but I don't think they will get swept. I believe they come through tonight, if not, Ogando will get the job done tomorrow

I have them qualifying in my chase system. Many of you hate chasing, but my system is doing very well this year (16-0 so far, I think) So I'm confident with these plays

Maybe a look at the over as well. The wind is blowing 20 mph right now...wait to see what it's like at game time. Taylor, can you verify if the wind blowing out of the south (in from right) it creates the jet stream?
