When losing hearing you actually lose 2 things as your speech begins to fade as well.

But despite that I would rather lose those two things any day than to go blind.

I think I would literally go insane if I lost my eyesight....

I think I could deal with being blind from the start, but losing sight after you have seen......@#$@#$@# thats bad

Plus, I can work (current occupation) without hearing, not without seeing
