Jay Bruce hit a drive to right-center in the second inning for the Reds’ only run. It was Bruce’s NL-best 15th HR.

Griff hit 56 in a season 2 times.

His current pace is for 45..

Poll could be for any year in the future...

He certainly can hit more homers then JR hit in any season that he played with the Reds.

Jay Bruce will certainly hit more career homers for the Reds then Jr hit for the Reds.

Injuries only thing that could prevent that.

watched him against Crew yest. Sweet, smooth swing and had double and jack in first 2 at bats. Barring injury this guys swing can accomplish big things.

Jay Bruce hit his first HR of the year in the 7th inning against LHP Travis Wood. It is his first HR since September 22nd 2012.

kid "had" so much potential.. lots of hype first year or two.. he is quickly fading.. but still has time to turn his career around

Wow! The kid is only 26. He has improved his HR and RBI total every year. How in the hell is that fading? He is one of the elite RF arms in the game. I will give you that he is off to a slow start, but making the statement about turning his career around is ridiculous.

I know Murph...As a lifelong Reds fan, I just get sick of the Reds fans that fall in love with marginal players like Heisey and Freel, but can't stand the talented players. I guess you have to watch as much of my team as I do, but Jay is a very good player. So many people think that he should be doing what Joey does, but he just isn't there yet.
