Dont know where to put this, so I picked this forum haha.

I have a diamond ring, 3 stone anniversary ring. My cousin bought it for his chick, things didnt work out and she gave it back. I bought it off of him for 2200. He told me it was insured for over 5k, but didnt have any receipts of the ring, just insurence papers. I beleive him. My 1st cousin. Just needed some money so I helped him out. I dont know what to do with this though.

Any one have any ideas or know a lot about diamonds who can help me out. Maybe give me some estimated value or places that would pay top dollar for diamonds. I would get rid of it for 2500 probably.

There are 3 bigger stones. Middle being the biggest, surrounding the middle are two decent sized stones. and boardering the 3 stones, are a total or 26 small diamonds, above and below (so double band ring) and its 14k gold..

My wife would know but you aren't giving any pertinent information. I would take it to a few stores local to you and have it appraised. You can compare and decide how much you can get for it.

Someone told me that if this ring was insured for 5000$ it is possible that the value of it is much higher then that. Insurence companies only insure up to 5k on jewelry?

I dont know if its true. But in comparison to rings in stores, it compares to 7000$ rings. So im confussed. My fiance says its expensive but bad luck if I keep it. So shes begging me to sell it. I just dont know where and for how much lol.

Impossible to tell anything from that picture. If you can get a certified appraisal you may be able to unload it at a store or pawn shop for what you paid, but they are going to low ball you big time.
