Could Ohio State's suspended players still find a way to the NFL? It may happen. According to Len Pasquarelli of The Sports XChange, the five suspended players -- Terrelle Pryor included -- could go into the NFL's supplemental draft this summer.

"Two sources from the college game and three NFL talent evaluators all told The Sports Xchange they expect the five OSU players suspended by the NCAA for the first five games of the 2011 season to at least consider the possibility of petitioning the NFL for inclusion in this summer's supplemental draft," Pasquarelli writes.

The hope was that the five suspended players -- including quarterback Terrelle Pryor -- would help the Buckeyes around the time when the schedule gets tougher. They are currently supposed to return in time for the likes of Nebraska, Illinois, Wisconsin, Penn State and Michigan. If they go to the NFL, this would further imperil the Buckeyes season.

Pryor showed at a press conf today driving a NEW CAR.

Bone head.

he is toast around campus. They will make his life hell.

he needs to leave school, and settle for a min NFL contract, right NOW.

I am so pissed.

I assumed this whole thing was just a big ole NOTHING. But the way ESPN is talking this stuff is going to get mega ugly for the bucks.

Only good thing is by the time they get off probation, and get back all the scholarships, maybe urban will be rested and ready to give coaching another shot, or maybe even Tony Dungy. (that would be a dream)

Pryor has played his last down of football at OSU. Who is he trying to impress by coming back? Tressel is no longer there to challenge him to come back and play to win a championship. That's not going to happen..Before this story broke I was very surprised that he didn't declare for the draft since he was going to miss half of the season and derail his senior year.. This latest S.I. story should seal the deal. I believe he's gone. OSU will be lucky to go 8-4 this year.

USC said the same thing. The last two years they've gone 9-4 and 8-5. Just wait until the sanctions come down on OSU. It can affect the winniest programs in the worst ways. And it can happen overnight.

Go Sooners,

I agree with you completely, people don't realize what this does to your depth. Currently, injuries are not as much of an issue, but when you loss schollies, they become huge.

I still think that the Buckeyes can win 9 or 10 this year because of how they are designed. Run, play D and control the ball and clock. This should be another great year on the unders.

I just talked the director of the Race and Sportsbook in vegas and he said they won't take more than 5K on the season total

I think it's tough to play a win total on this team because scandals and sanctions affect schools in different ways. With OSU basically being the only team in town, they are still going to get most of the players and walk-ons they want, just like USC has. But things like this do set a program back. USC has gone backawards for the last two years with Pete Carroll resigning... But with the personnel they have I suspect things could change for the better this year if Kiffin can walk the walk as well as he can talk the talk. So it may take OSU a couple or 3 years to really get back on track. And of course it depends who they end up hiring as their head man.

My guess is at this juncture he is willing to do what ever a NFL team wants him to do.

At 6 feet 5, 240 lbs, and a 4.4/4.5- 40, and great hands, I am certain they can find a place for him.

Who would take Pryor in the NFL? Hes not even close to talented enough to be a QB.

Agree. Pryor is a college talent and that's all. Besides, if character is such a big deal then why would you want Pryor? He's remorseless.

He never played WR before and now he's going to step into the NFL as a WR? Forget it.

He is done.

Matt Jones,
Antonio Gates
Jimmy Graham.

Pryor is too stubborn to switch from QB

pryor will have to change positions.

he still has first round talent.

honestly i dont think he'll have a problem finding a team.

i mean he got a good deal on a car and sold some rings for tattoos, who really gives a shit.

i know the media is pushing it hard to convince the public that this is reprehensible, that tressell should be tarred and feathered and on and on and on.

i really dont care though.

people have done far worse and gone on to successful careers in the league.

i consider ryan mallet to be more deviant then pryor.

He has no accuracy and makes bad decisions.

Mallett is 10 times the qb that Pryor is.
