Washington can't hit LHP.. Duke looked good in last start.

Zona won with late game heroics again, stays home.. Wash has to travel cross country.

I don't like the fact that AZ hasn't seen Zimmerman.. But I think AZ is the play..

Price is very fair.. Think it goes higher tomorrow?

Maholm has allowed two or fewer runs in seven of 11 starts

Pelfrey made 116 pitches in last start

Both pitchers have bad limited history against the opp lineup.

I kind of like NYM-0.5 1st5, odds should be around -103 when lines come out later today: Don't like the ML because the Mets bullpen sucks (except for K-Rod) and PIT scored on them already several times in this series.
Pelfrey has turned his season around after a terrible start (only one bad start vs NYY), his velocity now is ok, he has more life on his pitches and has done especially well at CitiField (last 4GS @CitiField, 29.1IP, 6R, 5ER on 19H and 8BB while striking out 16 --> ERA 1.53, WHIP 0.92).
Against the current PIT lineup his numbers are average, but last season in 2GS gave up only 4runs (3ER) on 12H and 6BB while striking out 9.
On the other side you have Maholm, who since 2009 faced the NYM 3times and gave up 20runs in 13IP on 28(!)H and 4BB while striking out just 4...NYM lineup has changed compared to the last years, but current Mets batters have great numbers against Maholm:
Reyes 7/19, Beltran 6/14 (1*2B and 1*HR), Pagan 5/12 (1*2B and 1HR), Evans 4/7 (2*2B), Paulino 3/6 and Bay/Turner haven't faced him yet.

A little bit of info on the Rangers for their series vs the Indians this weekend:

Texas kicks off a four-game series tonight in Cleveland, where the Indians have a 19-6 home record. Lefthander Matt Harrison will miss the series. The blister that developed in his start on Saturday has prompted Texas to scratch him from tonight’s start, which will instead be made by righthander Dave Bush.

· First base coach Gary Pettis will miss the games Friday through Sunday for his son Kyler’s high school graduation, and pitching coach will be away Saturday and Sunday for his daughter Lexie’s high school graduation. Round Rock manager Bobby Jones will serve as first base coach while Pettis is away (Spike Owen will manage the Express in Jones’s absence), and minor league pitching coordinator Danny Clark will serve as bullpen coach in place of Andy Hawkins, who will act as pitching coach in Maddux’s place.

6/2. twins. Hit the OVER tonight. Swarzak alittle rough on the road. Sully is 4-0 to the over last four and carries a 13.80 ERA over his last three into tonight. The over is 7-2 last 9 h2h. Good Luck!

I have the combo bet of indians and over, I like this combo because I think Texas has a smaller chance to win, but if Texas wins it gets over, so I'm feeling at worst a 1-1

edit: also liked your reasoning for AZ, I already had them too

Zimmerman is a stud, Duke is a LHP vs Wash. National league game.. Hopefully the game goes 8.5 innings.

I LOVE THIS CARD!!!!!!!

Dodgers look great @ +115 or higher.. Dodgers bats always sem to wake up a bit on the road, they have good history against Bronson and Kuroda in a good bounceback spot. They haven't seen much of Kuroda.

Reds are cold, Dodgers who got blanked by Jimenez in last start were hitting prior to that.. I like the price and spot in this one..

Red Sox ML and RL
I think the Red Sox blast Outman.. Red Sox get on base better than any team in MLB. Outman will be letting Red Sox batters on base every inning, recipe for disaster. Red Sox @ home Buchholz has been pitching well.. I think ML and RL mix is the way to go..

STL should beat the Cubs.

Garcia at home, Cubs are cold, barely .308 OBP last 8 games.. Team is shit anyway. Cards big bats, good history against Dempster.. Not much to think about here. ML and RL mix.

Baltimore short price looks good still thinking about this one..

Stros/Padres under, 1st 5 or game??
Happ has been pitching well, stros haven't been hitting other than one game with wind against the Cubs. Padres never hit. Moseley is solid and never gets run support.
Obvious under here.. could be a 3-1 game.. pitchers duel. stros horrible BP scares me a bit. so many 5?

Rockies/Giants under 7

Hard not to like this one.. Nicasio new stud, Giants havent seen him. Neither team can hit. Cain at home against a cold team. div rivals.. under 7 solid

Royals
Duffy is more comfortable home, he's a leftie and the Twins have plenty of lefties at bat. Pavano I don't like, KC has a couple of guys who hit him very well. KC good at home, minny good nowhere. Maybe 1st 5 in case the BP blows up

Angels

LAA usually plays the Yanks good.. Nova has been a mess and this price is high for a reason.. I think the books are begging for NYY money. Wait til tomorrow to bet this one. Weaver at home, usually a winner.

Also going with the Philles... Pitt has injuries and I think Hamels is the man and Karstens is not.. Better lineup, pitching, BP and in state rival will make for motivation.. Gotta like Phillies ML and RL.
