Today's big play:

Minnesota at KC
- the short of it:

Royals' pitcher, Sean O'Sullivan, has been a bad all year. Recently, he has been really been getting lit up (13.80 ERA in his last 3 games. Hasn't lasted more than 5 full innings in each start). On top of that, he has soreness in his arm but is still set to start tonight. Twins should be able to score against him despite the fact that they are banged up offensively.

Meanwhile, Anthony Swarzak is a good young pitcher who has done well lately. In his last outing, he went 8 innings and gave up no runs. I don't expect him to have too hard of a time against KC's offense tonight.

Twins are in a good spot here along with and will be my big play for today

* Minnesota Twins +110

on second thought I need to see MIN lineup. If Thome and Kubel are out today I think I'm going to no play it.. Did you take those 2 players into account on ur cap?

I did take that into account.

Thome is no big deal to me. He's batting .237 this year with only 4 HRs. Kubel has been a great offensive player so far. It does suck that he is out as well. Both players do make a big presence in the lineup, but I think it's not that detrimental to this game. Delmon Young and Michael Cuddyer have hit O'Sullivan well in the past. Throw Span and Morneau in there too. There is enough in this lineup to get to O'Sullivan. Especially since the guy has been throwing up meatballs; particularly, the past few games. Take a look at O'Sullivan's recent numbers:

5/28: 5.2 innings pitched - 10 ERs
5/22: 4.1 innings pitched - 7 ERs
5/17: 5 innings pitched - 6 ERs
5/12: 6.2 innings pitched - 4 ERs

Not to mention, he will be throwing with a sore bicep as well.

As I previously mentioned, Swarzak of Minn looked really sharp his last outing. Also, KCs lineup has never seen him. I love that fact as they won't know how to approach him for the first couple of ABs - they may go through half of the game before they start to get a grasp on him. KC's lineup isn't exactly stacked as well.

Big pitching mismatch here. Even with the injuries, I like Minn tonight.

BOL!
