or is Orel and Bobby two of the biggest pvssies doing baseball today.

These guys are just terrible.

I have heard that Bobby is one of the biggest pricks in baseball.
As for Orel, I can remember when he started sobbing after he came out of a union meeting when MLB went on strike.

Yep they're awful.

I used to love spending my Sunday Night relaxing on the couch watching Sunday Night baseball. Now I can't stand listening to Bobby Valentine so I just turn it on one of my TV's but watch something else on my big screen...

But still better than Joe Racist and his windbagged sidekick from SF they used to have.

This is brutal listening to these 2 hacks sucking each others balls. This is crazy why ESPN would let these 2 turds on the air.

Nice job by ESPN running out Morgan and Miller. Replacing them with guys who suck even worse. Morgan wasn't the most prepared but Jon Miller always came with enthusiam.

it's tough to find exciting, let alone interesting, national baseball announcers. all the best guys work for their teams, not like the nfl.

If you know anything about the sport in question, who's announcing and what they are saying shouldn't matter. It truly should have no impact on your own opinion of what's going on in the game.

I have heard that Bobby is one of the biggest pricks in baseball.
He is an asshole, but, I go to his restaurant/sports bar here in Stamford Ct. often, outside of baseball he's an OK guy, he's a shrewd business man, great food, great prices.
He's loaded, beyond loaded, he wanted to buy a share of the Dodgers.

But, yes, listening to him is like chalk on blackboard.

I think the best national announcer I have ever heard was Jim Kaat, he was on the #2 crew at CBS and FOX behind Jack Buck and Tim McCarver.

But all the best are locals.

Jim Kaat, Jerry Remy and Tony Kubek are the best three in game analysts in my lifetime.

Ken Singleton does a solid job every game, day in, day out as well.

Valentine and Orel are just plain brutal.

UNBELIEVABLE why ESPN has these two hacks on is beyond me.

i listened to less than a half an inning tonite. during that time, valentine said that beltran might be the wrong pickup for the giants cause they are looking for him to carry the team and that won't work cause the giants are about 'magic'. i says, 'wtf is he talking abt?' that made absolutely no sense to me. also in that half inning, orel did explain nicely the sequence of westbrook's pitches, using the flash replay.
