Poker Wagering

I have played in a casino one time.

I can remember, I put money into the pot with my right hand and then went back into put additional money in with my right hand, they guy let me, but they said you can't do that.

Can someone provide me a guide or somewhere that explains wagering in poker.

Such as, what the button means and 2/5, 5/10.

Also, if someone calls, can you raise a call, all things necessary to know how to wager.

Far from a Pro, and there should be plenty of others guys in here soon.

I know you need to have whatever call you are making in your hand at the same time or you may Say CALL.
You can Only Play in a hand with the Money you have Out on the table.
meaning if the Bet is $100 and you only have $80 in front of you, You Can't go into your pocket to grab the other $20 and call the Bet.
You would have to be All In for that hand.

3 Raises per bet.

You're on the Button. Button moves as each hand gets dealt .
it's means you are dealing ( well not really dealing ) but the first card is dealt to that next player that is next to you.

game is 1/2, means $1 & $2, it is not a NL game. You can't bet more than $2, but still can raise the bet.

most important rule in poker.. VERBAL is BINDING of any bets/calls/raises/folds.. etc so if u want to simplify things until u get the handle on the rules ALWAYS announce ur bet or raise or fold and u will never have an issue.

This is called a "string" bet, and is not allowed, because you are supposed to make your bet in one continuous motion. This prevents people from gauging your reaction to
a bet, and then adjusting the bet up and down according to the reaction.
