Seems many of the pros seem to get by on their pure talent. Very few go that extra mile. Huge difference between the top dogs in sports and the ones below. The look of certain players can't be bought, you either have heart or you don't. So many relations fail too because of this.....

i agree, but nothing is there to convince me the heat didnt have the heart.

like i said 2 weeks ago when i picked dallas, dallas is simply the more talented team.

the heat have wade and lebron.

the next 4 players i would take before i would choose bosh are mavs: nowitzki, terry, chandler, kidd,

Why do you come up with definitions that see these things as seperate entities

If someone does what is necessary to win and succeed and do good stuff, how is that not the definition of talent?

The best TEAM won...It's pretty obvious that Miami didn't work nearly as well together as Dallas. Here's the second reason that Miami lost. The makeup of the Heat is such that they have all of their salary tied up in 3 great players. But because of that, they are short on role players. And because of that, Lebron, Wade and Bosh are all playing about 3 to four extra minutes per game. And it started to take it's toll in the 4th quarter of games. Normally Terry would have been stuffed by Lebron when he attempted that 27 foot jumper with 40 seconds left in game 5 that put the dagger in Miiami. But by then Lebron had lost his explosiveness..Announcers have talked all year how the Heat have had trouble finishing games. You would think with 3 Superstars that there was no way that Dallas should be winning the last 6 minutes of these games. But they did it in each and every game since game one, the game Miami won when they were the freshest. Even in game 3 when Dallas lost, they made up a lot of ground. And Dirk, with both hands banged up, missed a look at the buzzer that he usually makes, or this series wouldn't even have gone 6 games. It was pretty hilarious how Mark Jackson was calling coach Carisle a "damn fool" because he was resting his players in the second, and third and early fourth quarters "because this is for it all, and these players need to be in the game." It just shows you how much smarter these veteran coaches are than these talking head announcers. Magic Johnson thought Miami should have had the series rapped up in 5 games..Ha! Carlisle knew what he was doing the whole time. He had a plan going in, and he stuck with it. There's my thrid reason for Dallas winning. Miami also got outcoached...My Dallas +160 to win the Finals sure feels sweet today.

the biggest mistake they made was signing bosh and not waiting a year for paul.
