I think his style was more enjoyable prior to 20 years ago.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion...

Vin may have lost half a step over the years, but we're talking about one of the best PBP baseball guys in the history of the game. We're talking about a guy who learned his craft from Red Barber.

For those of us of a certain age, Vin is as good as there has ever been.

You guys have to listen to him every day. he is the best and i am an Angel fan. he knows every ball player and has a story about each one. He is the most entertaining anouncer in baseball.

I've always taken offense to his phrase "Just of the start of things. so pull up a chair." It's especially offensive when you bet the over and it's 0-0 in the 4th inning.

I also can't stand when he starts a sentence with "Isn't it ironic..." and proceeds to expound on the most inconsequential nonsense.
