Why would you marinate what is the king of cuts in steak.....You pay a premium for it so just enjoy the taste

make the salt,... sea salt and the pepper,... course ground fresh from a pepper mill.

Allow the meat to sit and "rest for 5 min prior to serving or cutting into it, and just prior to putting it out for your guest, drizzel just a bit of melted butter on top.

They are the most tender cut of beef, but they lack fat and fat is flavor. This is why people wrap bacon around them and marinade it...I think they are highly over rated. In my opinion ribeyes are the best cut you can buy.

There is a reason the finest steak houses in the world don't use any marinades...all you need is a little salt and pepper (fresh ground if possible) and a drizzle of butter. There is no sense in covering up the flavor of good meat.

Bingo. Filet isnt known for its great flavor, its just the most tender. Ribeye is my personal preferance as well.

However, try this for a great flavor enhancer. About an hour before you put the steaks on lay them on a dish with a small amount of olive oil (just enough to coat) and a very small amount of worcestershire sauce. then add a ton of fresh chopped garlic over top. right before they go on the grill hit them with some lemon pepper, lemon juice and some butter.

Cook a steak as hot as your grill gets. The best steak houses cook at 800 degrees plus. and like previously stated let the steak rest for 5 minutes before cutting into it.

I like to stuff a tenderloin with goat cheese, then wrap with a maple smoked bacon and grill it over medium high in-direct heat. I use indirect method so the.bacon is not rubbery and under cooked and the steak will be basted by the smokey bacon.

You can find techniques to stuff the tenderloin online.. I use tooth picks for the bacon.

I like stuffing en with blue cheese and topping with a simple red wine sauce, add either green beans or asparagus and you're good to go.

You don't marinade a filet mignon!!!

Cook it the right way, and you'll get all the flavor you need locked in the juices. If you don't have a BBQ to cook this thing outside, your boy Alton will tell you all you need to know. Keep in mind you want your steak room temperature before cooking!
