Bored out of my mind, ideas??

I have two weeks left of sick leave, and I am bored stupid. Problem is, they have me so pumped full of steroids that I've ballooned up to the point that it hurts to move much. I have tried taking my dog for hikes, but can't get much further than 30 minutes. I've read both books I had set out for myself.

Anybody have any ideas for things to do (maybe online) that don't require mobility and/or staying awake for longer than 6 hours at a time? TV doesn't interest me much....

I rock some Yahoo Literati (their version of Scrabble) from time to time. Computer games always work as well. I'm playing Neverwinter Nights because I'm an RPG nerd sometimes.

I can remember about 8 years ago when I use to laugh at my wife for being addicted to the video game SIMS...until I tried it and found chunks of my day were wiped away playing that dam simulation game.

At this date I can safely say I am about 6 years clean.

I recommend the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series by George R.R. Martin.

The HBO series is amazing but the books are superior as always. You won't finish the 4 books in 2 weeks, but I am sure you'll be satisfied.

Went out to pool league tonight. Was kinda funny, to be honest. I can't really see clear down table and my balance is a bit off, but I played anyway. And got my ass kicked.

But at least I wasn't bored for awhile. Haha...

Have a few, maybe many cold beverages and listen to Towns Van Zandt Sessons..... about 50 minutes that you might find "non-boring". The best song writer in the world.

Many are just now finding out about this guy.....he's the best. TRY the words...and if you are bored...I'll kiss your ass.

Go to the music store and buy a keyboard or a guitar and learn to read music or go back to reading music and play.Terrific and rewarding challenge.
