Was just at 7-11 and Mike Beasley rolled in singing out loud. My first thought as i was putting chili and cheese onto my 2 for 2 big bites was that the tall guy looks just like Beasley. Then i saw his big hummer with Minnesota tags and realized it was him. I got no camera on my phone so gave up on that idea, but almost asked him to pay for my food but figured thats a hack move. He got a liter, pack of cigs and like 3 sweet teas/lemonades. Pretty weird to run into him at the 7-11 in cp maryland but i know he is from the area so i guess its not that strange

No camera on your Phone ?????? :ohno::ohno:

LOL Yea i lost my phone about a month and a half ago and have been using an old blackberry until i decide what phone to drop all my cash on. If i had the camera there would be a bunch of pics. Few years ago at a MD/Duke game Brady Quinn was sitting just behind the student section and i snagged like 4 pics of him as he was lookin rite at me. He probably thought i was a donkey but o well. Still to this day don't know what he was doing at the terps/duke game maybe hes a Duke fan? Altho he seemed to be rooting for the terps but i know he has no terps ties

If you're in 7-11 and a famous athlete walks in why would you take a picture of him? Guy throws his drawers on just like you and I.

should have told him you had the new sponge bob dvd, 2 pizza's and a couple joints at your place. He would have probably let you drive the hummer

I just find it cool to see someone famous doing the same things as me/chillin in 7-11. Also as proof when some of my friends don't believe me. Also look up to basketball players as someone who plays a lot myself because its crazy how good these guys are. Not going to frame the picture and put it up in my apartment or anything but just always cool to take a picture when something out of the ordinary happens.

I once saw Eddy Curry at a Jewel grocery store when he played for the Bulls. It was summer time and he was wearing a white T-shirt and what appeared to be Chicago Bulls game shorts(LMFAO).......oh, and he was buying some cheap ass flowers at the grocery store...LMFAO

Have you been living under a rock in this city?

NBA guys are always out and about in the DC area. The DMV has produced the best hoops talent in the country, in the last 5 or 6 years. A ton of them live here. The best summer basketball league in the country takes place at Georgetown every year. This year it is going to be stocked full of NBA players because the NBA summer league has been canceled. Kevin Durant, Jeff green, Hibbert, John Wall, Michael Beasley, and Caron Butler have all committed to playing this year. The rest of the rosters are filled with Georgetown, Maryland, Mason, and GW players. A few other DC guys that play overseas or at other colleges play as well.

Do you think i don't know this? The point is that I have not seen any of those players that you listed in the last 10 years that i have been in this area. Are you implying that seeing them is not out of the ordinary? Maybe for you i guess. But i have never seen any of those players mentioned in all my time in this area, even went to camp at Montrose and never ran into Durant. But your the 2nd person to ask me if im living under a rock today so maybe you are right.

You should've challenged him to a game of one on one...buried a three Pointer in his face, then come in here and start a thread about it
