why are the marlins the home team at seattle??!

U-2 has a show in their stadium so they decided to have the game in Seattle. It's just a technicality since this series was supposed to be in Miami. I think Betallsports made a thread about this on the baseball boards.

My guess is the Marlins are making extra money by doing this. Fuck U2.

could've at least played these games on a neutral field. disrupts competitive balance (more home games for the m's, less home games for the fish). this franchise really crashed these last 3 weeks.

Marlins do not own Joe Robbie Stadium

I know that. They probably make more money by playing the games in Seattle (revenue from games in Seattle) and who knows if they made a deal with the stadium (Sunlife)

yep, i hate that fuck. 'go save the world'.... how about go fuck yourself. maybe if i was a millionaire rockstar, i'd have a lot more time on my hands to worry about hungry people in some country i never heard of.
