heads up on the Buccos...

Clint Hurdle looks for these situations to rest his starters. The Bucs are off on Monday so his normal MO is to rest starters on Sunday and give them two full days off before starting the next series. Of course with the all star break so close it may not be 100% in order here but I can certainly see him keeping some of the big boys on the bench for game 3 of the Boston series knowing he's now taken b2b Interleague series'.

on the pitching side the Bucs have won 3 straight McDonald starts but he's been real lucky, posting a 2.02 WHIP and .418 OBP but against 3 bad teams...Baltimore, Houston, and the Mets. The Red Sox have to take game 3 and when McDonald loses a start he does it emphatically...3-7, 2-5, 5-9, 2-11. Bucs just 13-15 day games, BoSox 17-8. I think the Sox roll here...

Red Sox -1.5 +138 - hammer time!

Thanks, only thing that makes me nervous is the pitcher the red sox are throwing out, but he looked decent against the padres. Oh well I'm on it red sux -1.5 +140.

if this were to be the case it'd make sense to wait until the lineups came out before pulling the trigger here (that is unless you think the sox will win regardless.)
