At the time of this writing, the following Match Odds/Moneyline were available: Los Angeles Angels (2.02, +102) and Los Angeles Dodgers (1.93, -108)

Angels are 20-7 as an interleague underdog,
Dodgers are 3-9 against AL opponents at home

The Los Angeles Angels continue to thrive during interleague play by coming away with a 6-1 victory at Dodger Stadium Saturday. The Angels have won nine of their past 13 games and climbed to .500 for the first time since June 4. One of the reasons for the recent surge is the play of outfielder Vernon Wells, who is hitting .318 with two home runs in his last six games. "You come over and try to do too much and sometimes that makes things worse, especially in the batter's box," Wells commented. Los Angeles has been a dominant team during the day, posting a 79-46 record over the last three years.

Angels starting pitcher Jered Weaver is set to make his 11th road start of the season, posting a 6-3 mark and 1.88 ERA in those outings. The right-hander has been brilliant over his last two starts, capturing back-to-back wins, while giving up just a single run and 10 hits over 16 frames. Weaver will be making just his second daytime start of the year and is 2-0 with a 0.64 ERA, issuing six walks and compiling 21 strikeouts in 14 frames. In seven lifetime outings versus the Dodgers, he has a 4-2 record and 3.18 ERA, including a 2-1 mark and 1.61 ERA in four outings at Dodger Stadium.
