At the time of this writing, the following Match Odds/Moneyline were available: Milwaukee Brewers (2.36, +136) and New York Yankees (1.72, -139)

Yankees are 22-6 versus the NL Central
Brewers are 0-4 in their last four road games versus a right-handed starter

Milwaukee out-hit New York in its 12-2 loss last night at Yankee Stadium, marking the first time in franchise history that the team tallied more hits than its opponent and lost by double digits. The Brewers have had little go their way on the road this season, owning the worst record away from home in the NL at 15-25. It's still important to note that the club's 30-16 record since May 9, still stands as the best mark in the Senior Circuit over that span. Milwaukee is 36-27 against right-handed starters this year, but 147-152 when facing them over the last three campaigns.

Brewers starting pitcher Shaun Marcum is 7-2 with a 2.95 ERA in 16 starts this season and received a no-decision in the club's 6-3 loss versus the Rays last Wednesday. The right-hander has been battling problems with his left hip due to an injury he suffered on June 17. "I'm definitely glad I pitched and more glad that I came out of the game healthy," Marcum stated after his last outing. In 11 lifetime outings (nine starts) versus the Yankees, he has compiled a 1-4 record and 6.55 ERA.
