Here is the situation, my girlfriend was shopping for a new car and doesnt know anything about cars, so i did all the work, got her a great deal on a car...

I work, she took off work to get the car that i negotiated over the phone (have the voicemail from the salesman saying the price, what it has in it, the model and that it was with taxes, docs, fees) ...she went in there said my boyfriend had worked a deal for the g25 for 31,500 total out the door, (but i worked out a deal for a g25 journey, which is a more expensive car for 31,500)... she had no idea that the base g25 comes with NOTHING, no heated seats, dual air, usb connection, blue tooth, etc etc...she did not know the difference between g25 and the g25 journey, so she asked me if the 31,500 was the car with all the goods, the blue tooth, etc etc...

i said yes

she said ok im getting it...she signed the papers for a g25 BASE because the prick dealer gave her the g25 a 30k dollar car for 31,500...and the car i was negotiating was a 34k dollar car for 31,500 !!! ...so now i just call the dealership, they laughed and said sorry she signed it!!! shes a girl!!! she doesnt know the difference she test drove a car with all those features in it, then they roll out the g25 base and say this is what she signed for, sorry! so now shes paying 600 dollars a month for a car she doesnt want

is there anything i can do? because i am furious!!!! ##)##)

I believe most dealers have some kind of 48 hour policy if your unsatisfied with your automobile.

Just did a quick search but it seems as though the 48-72 hour policy is a myth.

yeah i spoke to the dealership and they said IF I WENT with her then they wouldve given her the better car for the same price but she never said the word JOURNEY so therefore they did not offer it to her for the price i negotiated, fucked up

Not trying to one up you but this just happened to my wife 3 months ago...

My wife (girlfriend at the time) wanted to buy a new vehicle. I warned her to not negotiate with these scumbags (car dealers) without me being there, but her being a head strong young woman thought she could do it without me.

I had told her that she needed to try to negotiate the best price that she could possibly get...So she offered 32,000 on a MSRP 44,000 loaded Nissan PathFinder LT. The Carsalesman comes back and tells her that they can do it for that, to her amazement...she was lowballing them trying to negotiate...

A few months pass...we get married and I am paying her car payment over the phone. Out of curiousity I ask the representative over the phone how much do we owe on the vehicle and he says 42,983 dollars!!!! I then ask him what in the hell is the interest rate on this thing, he says 1.9% and that is the number before interest. Being confused as hell, I ask him what did my wife agree to pay on the vehicle and he says, $44,000!!!

The Dealership, a huge dealership in Alabama knew my wife new nothing about buying a car, told her that she was getting the car for 32,000 dollars and then deceived her into signing the papers for 44,000...I called the dealership and they acted as if nothing had happened wrong...oh and the car salesman that sold her the car no longer works there!

I am unsure what I should do, just like the OP on this predicament!

dont know if i buy this story. usually when you test drive a car that is the car you agree to buy they dont switch it with a different car than she drove. if they pulled this shady shit i would stand at the entrance and tell everyone coming in the bs they pulled. good luck

wait wait, so i made this up? sitting at work i decided to fabricate a story bout my girlfriend buying a car and getting ripped, come on man, i am pretty respected on this site, i am not a newbie i wouldnt post BS story

anyway to your response, she signed the papers for the g25, when i negotiated with them they told me she was getting the g25 JOURNEY that comes with all the packages, but when she signed the papers she did not know what a USB cable or any of the features were, so she did not look because when i told her she was getting the journey g25, she figured they would all be in there, little did she know she signed for the g25 and not asking about the journey package, no idea why..it is def her fault but the scumbag dealer shouldve told her about the car instead of selling her the piece of shit model

Not sure how they do it by you, but Here in NY you are Test Driving a car that is on the Lot and then you order the one you want. UNLESS the car you want is the car you are Test driving ( or it's a Used Car )..... and then they will take some money off because it Now has some Miles on it.

This is How I got my last 3 cars

It all depends how bad you want to get rid of the car.
Nearly any contract can be voided by an intelligent lawyer.
"buyers remorse" is a real thing depending on which state you live in.
It can only be argued in the courts though.

If it is a big legit dealership I would probably pullout all the stops.

Talk to salesman, management, corporate, whatever. Even call the better business bureau or chamber of commerce if you have to. That is just so bush league and I doubt a big dealership cares about 2-3k enough to not fight it. Just remember to be respectful the whole time, don't act like a douche and you might get somewhere but be persistent.
