It seems this wager, if offered tonight, looks like a cinch. If you could, would you wager on it? The Cardinals by the way, are a favorite tonight (-125) with Carpenter pitching. Personally, it looks too good to be true. What do you think?

The wager is: Cardinals 1st 5 innings -0.5 (+115).

I don't get the -0.5 ....someone actually used this in the MLB contest last night, and I just can't seem to find a 5 inning line like that. If anyone has, please inform me. I'm always willing to learn.

I think its similar to a game run line but only for the 1st 5 innings. If you take a first 5 ML then if its tied after 5 you got a push, if you are -0.5 then you have to be leading after 5 innings. If they are tied you got a loss.
