The Argos had a decent year a season ago (9-9) when everything went right for them. However, in terms of talent and big play personnel, the Argos are nowhere near the Stamps or anyone else for that matter. Cleo Lemon is back at QB and he’s not shown the ability to adjust to the CFL game. The Argos 9-9 record from a year ago was the result of a lot of good breaks and balls bouncing their way. Offensively, one has to believe no team in the CFL will score less points than the Argos. Stop Cory Boyd and force the Argos to pass and it’s game over. Meanwhile, the Stamps are loaded with weapons everywhere. Henry Burris has been around forever and knows this game as good as anyone. Burris is surrounded by a whole cast of big play receivers that can take it to the house on any play. So, not only will the Argos have to deal with Burris and the receivers but they’ll have to deal with Joffrey Reynolds in the backfield. When it’s all said and done what you’re going to witness is a whole lot of run, pass and kick for the Argos (or two and outs) while the defense will be on the field way too often and way too long to keep this one within this range.
