Mostly total strangers looking for agents with me vouching for them so they can get credit..A definite no no...Lots of not so strange requests for mod jobs. Occasionally I get asked if I know where such and such a poster can be reached - in which case all I say is try to PM him/her. I never without permission from the person involved give out any personal information such as email addresses. In the past before we had PMs I would email someone for someone else and say so and so would like you to email them but only if you want.
I also get a lot of email asking if the site wants to enter into link exchanges or search engine placement etc. none of it really strange just stuff that goes with the territory. The odd job offer on occasion. Of course an occasional complaint about one thing or another as wells as occasional thank you's about one thing or another.
The thank you's do out number the complaints believe it or not..
Then there are the poster feuds that one side and sometimes both come to me about. They can be pretty strange but I won't discuss cases openly in a thread like this..I do my best to help resolve those problems but sometimes that can be difficult and other times it can be very easy..Depends on how mature the participants are...
Bottom line is I try to be fair at all times. I also try to respond to all requests within reason whenever possible..I have to be careful with the spam I got. Today I got a beauty from Paypal (which I don't use):
