Only the St Louis Cards could lose at home after being down 8-0 and then coming back to tie it 8-8 in the 9th.

Facing Aroldis "don't call me Rex" Chapman in the bottom of the 13th and down 9-8.

The Cardinals released Ryan Franklin a few weeks ago but this was the type of game he would pitch in and lose.

There could be a St. Louis comeback thread every night the way they play. Down 1-0 at home to Az. The Cards have more errors (2) than hits (1).

I think Theriot is French for throwing error.
