It feels like they really lost it. Heavy hearts for the family of the firefighter who died at the game a few hours ago.

Agreed.

It was just last season when a spectator fell from the upper deck at the ballpark in Arlington; luckily, he survived.

A very terrible and unfortunate accident tonight

Sad story. Dunno i would hold Josh Hamilton fault as his intents wasn't for that to happen but it did. Im sure Hamilton does feel very very bad today.

As the father of a 9 year old boy I feel just absolutely terrible about this. It is so sad for that guy's son. Just terrible what happened.

Absolutely cannot fault Josh here. He'll be thinking about this for a while, and probably never forget it. The grief is unfair as all he did was toss a ball into the stands.. If the dad caught it and gave it to his kid, it would have made the kids day and it was a great gesture by Josh. Josh should know it's not his fault, but I imagine this will stay with him for a while. Very unfortunate.

Yeah it will probably be a while before Josh Hamilton throws another ball in the stands after this.
