How amazing is this girl?

Will she break music-records down the road?

She's clearly on pace while continuing to deliver hit after hit, year after year, and still at such a young age.

Her newest/latest of her many, many hits below.... (One original video and one live)

`she's definitely talented....im not "overly" crazy about her voice, but am more impressed with her songs....she is a very strong songwriter, which will insure that she lasts a long time....she wont have to depend on others to get the "good" songs, or hope that they fall in her lap.....she's also very talented in making videos, they are like small movies....

she has a solid career ahead of her....i would imagine the names Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift will last much like Loretta and Tammy did years before......

As long as she does not move too close to the top 40 scene she will be fine.

With that said I have my worries that she will do just that.

Moving away from country music into the top 40 scene has ruined several careers.

Leann Rhimes and Shenia Twian just to name a few.

I dont understand some of these country singers.

They are already in the most profitable genre in the business, but yet they feel like they need to move there act into the dying top40 market for more appeal.

They are already in the hot market.

No need to move into a dying genre.

You dont see beyoncee or Lady GaGa trying to move into the country market.

So why does Swift or Rhimes think they have to go top40?
Rhimes should be a legend by now, but her career is filled with awful business and career decisions that has left her with an average career at best.

Swift is a very smart girl.

As long as she understands this she will be fine.

It's refreshing to see a girl who writes most of her own songs. You don't see much of that with women in the country music business. I think she'll have a nice long career just for that reason.

Not my cup of tea, musically, but she has talent and she's gorgeous.

Can't stand her.

It's not "country music"...it's pop w/ a southern flare.

Typical of the late 90's through now of the new country music industry: cute face, mediocre voice, big show, heavy promotion....and bingo! A star is born!

Sure, she's a success....but it's not "country" music....

Extremely overrated.

Her voice sucks for country music.

By the time she turns 25, no one will remember her.

I agree about her voice. But crossover artists are the ones out there making the big bucks. I personally don't like that kind of music either. It really has very little to do with true country music. Way too high production for me. If I've got to listen to country, just give me a simple song. I coulld care less about 19 year old girls breaking up with their boyfriend songs made to two-step a dance beat.

she should be thanking kanye for grabbing the mic from her.

without him doing that she'd be a nobody.

people feel almost required to say nothing but good things about her after that.

country doesn't interest me, prefer instrumentals.

You get dumber by the post. By the time that happened she already was the undisputed queen of country music.

LOL

she is like the majority of them out there today.

I have very little opinion on Taylor Swift, but I'm sensing a theme with you. Most of your posts are contrarian and seem like you just want to get a response.

the undisputed queen?

retard.

Let me put it to you this way.
Taylor Swift sold more CD's before that episode then she did after that happened.
Her success had absolutely nothing to do with that.

Correct.
Swift was certified multi-platinum right after her debut CD in 2006.
Kanye pulled that crap in 2009.

She was already a superstar for 3 years, she doesn't need any help from West
