Hate's a strong word, but there's a lot of dislike for the guy.

He's a baseball player, nothing more, nothing less, and he gets the most out of his God given talent, and as a baseball player he goes about his job in the most professional of ways.

Rarely does he make a mental mistake, he's the captain of the most storied of all sports teams, contributed largely in winning five world championships, plays the game right...........

Oh sure he comes across cold and calculating, but still, what is it that some of you dislike?

I know, plus that and the fact I bet you there are 20+ other teams that would have loved him playing SS for them.

I agree. He's a ball player. Nothing more. But I see some of you guys saying how classy he is. Well, he gave that kid spit. He makes 176,000 a game. The least he could do is give him a day's salary. And that's low. The kid is a moron for giving him the ball back for nothing. BIg deal. He gets to go to more games. Will that pay his student loans? Jeter's a ball player. He's also a scumbag and less.

I have no problems with him, but then again I don't like or dislike athletes for what they do or don't do off the field. He made one of the best baseball plays I've ever seen, "the flip" against Oakland.
