the fresh cut grass, the unlimited potential, the thought of playing in October. It all starts today. I can remember my Dad taking me to Comiskey Park, just like it was yesterday. Baseball games seem long to almost everyone, but when we went it felt like it wasn't long enough.

Coming up on another opening day, remembering my father as he passed away almost 20 years to the date. This is always the most bitter-sweet time of the year for me. A lot of memories I wouldn't trade for anything. I got to witness the World Champion White Sox in 2005, and man I wish my Dad could have been there in person so we could watch together. I know he was watching from heaven though.

I feel it Dad, it's our year again. the potential starts here, starts with Mark Buehrle on the mound. I can't ever hardly wait for that 1st pitch to get here, and for the 1st pitch Adam Dunn knocks out in his brand new shiny Sox uniform.

Baseball is here, and it's always been my favorite. Play Ball!
